Every commission is carved to order, one piece at a time, by hand. There's no batch production here: your figurine starts after you confirm the idea with us, not before.

Instead of one flat price, custom work is split into five tiers based on size and carving complexity. This keeps a small memorial pendant-sized piece affordable while still pricing fairly for a larger, multi-element sculpture.

• Simple Custom ($250): Smaller pieces with clean, simple shapes and fewer carved details. Best for a single small animal or object.
• Standard Custom ($290): Medium-size designs with moderate carving detail, one step up in scale or texture from Simple.
• Detailed Custom ($325): Built for animals, pets, or figures where personality and texture matter, more fur, feather, or fabric detail.
• Premium Custom ($365): Larger or more detailed designs that need extra carving time to get right.
• Complex Custom ($400): The most detailed commissions: complex poses, multiple elements in one piece, or larger sculptures.

Memorializing a pet or loved one

Start at Detailed Custom. Faces, fur, and expression carry the emotional weight of a memorial piece, and that level of texture needs the extra carving time.

A single small keepsake object

Simple or Standard Custom. A symbol, a small animal, or a simple shape with few surface details doesn't need Premium-level time.

A family or couple portrait

Premium or Complex Custom. Multiple figures or a shared pose add carving complexity that a single-subject tier can't cover.

A fantasy character or invented design

Detailed to Complex Custom, depending on how many distinct features (wings, armor, multiple textures) the design carries.

3. We recommend a tier: Based on size and complexity, we point you to the right option instead of leaving you to guess.
4. Place your order: Once the tier and details are confirmed, your commission enters the queue.
5. We carve, shape, and finish by hand: No CNC machines, no lasers. One maker takes your piece from raw timber to finished form.
6. Updates and shipping: We check in during the process when needed, then carefully pack and ship your finished sculpture.

Pro tip: A clear, well-lit reference photo taken straight-on (not at an angle) gives our carvers the most accurate likeness to work from.

Solid wood ages well when it's treated like wood, not like resin or plastic. A few habits keep a custom piece looking sharp for years.

• Keep it dry: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking or submerging the piece in water.
• Avoid direct heat and sun: Prolonged sun exposure or a spot right above a radiator can dry out and warp the grain over time.
• Dust gently: A soft brush or microfiber cloth is enough; skip household cleaning sprays.

Natural grain and color variation aren't defects. They're the same handmade quality that makes a custom piece one of a kind instead of a mold-cast copy.

Custom commissions are priced in five flat tiers, $250 to $400, based on size and carving complexity rather than a per-item quote. There are no hidden add-on fees once a tier is confirmed.
